VALENTINE FOR BABIES

Christmas sugar cookies didn't get made. "I will make the grandbabies Valentine cookies," I said. I was at KMart looking at the Valentine cards ...I found an affordable cute card with a picture of homemade Valentine cookies on the front. I was encouraged! I purchased the card & went home to make these very same cookies (look-alikes). Forgot to take a picture of the card.

Nothing can match my (our) love for the grandbabies, Coulson (Colie Bolie), Sarah, Katherine, my beauty girls & Marshall (Marbles), EXCEPT maybe a sugar cookie!

MONTHLY MEDITATION MEMO

JANUARY: Treat holy that which you see as holy. We cannot say , "this is holy to me" if we do not actively seek to make it holy. I came face to face with this seemingly simple thought this month. I came closer to seeing the light on this reality as I work to make it part of my life.

FEBRUARY: "In all your trials, tribulations and sickness, in all your sufferings, even unto death, be careful you don't BETRAY God..." By: Wilford Woodruff

BETRAY is a bold word. It literally means to let down or be disloyal to our Heavenly Father. Cunningly, we can be led and become sleeping disciples. We can be deceived even by little acts of; for instance, rationalization. DEFEND & PROTECT are bolder words, action words. They show our allegiance. WHAT? We do not betray God...let us remember & be guided in this belief until it becomes pure knowledge.

Christmas 2008...Almost Ready for Santa

Our move and adjustment to our new row house in the flats in September 2008 ended the year with some major adjustments. We put on our gloves and tried to create a harmonious atmosphere by the beginning of 2009. We do love our new location in better part. It is located well in proximity to Mike's work and to our new Legacy Highway with one exit only to our son's home. So by Christmas 2008 we could start to breathe again and we call this new year 2009, yet another, STAGE 62. Signed: Gainful Grandmother (or trying to be)
